HAW Sleep-Out

October 16th at 6pm until Saturday October 18th at noon

Student volunteers are "Night Owl" assistants ("Night Owlets"): Keep in contact with point persons including faculty/staff "Night Owls"; assist participants; alert campus police if emergency issues arise; uphold signed and agreed upon behaviors of participants; assist with clean-up on Saturday (depending on time available).

HAW Facilitator

HAW Opening Day Events

October 13th in Student Center University Rooms

Staff table with Homelessness Awareness Sleep-Out information (distribute waivers, serve as "witness" for students signing waivers); host and introduce guest speakers; welcome students and briefly cite importance of activities, and introduce video; assist with silk-screening HAW t-shirts.

Sign-up is closed. We are happy to say that we have exceeded our goal of volunteers for HAW 2008.

You can however, still participate in the sleep-out and take part in this unique learning experience. We look forward to seeing everyone at the sleep-out.
